Week 2

During our first class session this week we met with our mentors from Harbor Pictures to give our pitch. Although there was a lack of clarity in our idea, the mentors latched onto aspects they liked (romance, the changing environments, and the vellum sims) and encouraged us to continue developing our story to better combine these aspects.

During our next class session, we met at the LED volume and spoke to the faculty that runs the facility. My group got to ask some questions that will help inform our approach to shots with CG backgrounds. Yoolji and Ben Jones began further research into PNG sequence cards and a method to store camera movement data from our shoot day. Duck began prepping assets for the next visualizations. Ella continued to develop her Vellum simulations. I started collecting assets and kit bashing environments for my next transition vis.
