Navigate the museum 🇬🇧

The Museum of Navigation Instruments was opened in 2001 and is the first and only private museum in Italy entirely dedicated to the history of navigation.

The collection is spread over three floors and gathers around 600 scientific and mechanical objects, collected over a lifetime by the owner Gianni Gini. The instruments were purchased around the world, won at auctions, or received as donations from friends and enthusiasts. These are devices that, over the centuries, have allowed humans to navigate and sail the seas.
