"Picture Perfect" follows the story of a man who falls in love with an e-girl. Not much else to really say. Read the lyrics, you'll see the clues for yourself.
This was the first track to ever be fully completed (and written) by the band.
This track was inspired by true events in Christian "Kris" Baldemor's life (the co-singer and bassist for the band).
- - Since the song had a personal connection with the him, Kris did all of the instrumentation for this song. The exceptions being extra drums done by "Pyro" and most of the lyrics (done by Gage "Josh" Catlin).
The song originally started off as a series of ideas and events by Kris, which then Josh transcribed into lyrics. Kris and Josh then worked together to do further rewrites.
- - In verse 3, the first 2 lyrics were actually cut, to keep the verse the same length as the others. The original verse (before any rewrites) is as follows:
    "Locked inside my own home/

Wishing that I wasn’t so alone/

---On my birthday, which is when/

you provided more fun once again/

You left me a package on my stairs/

I guess that does mean you really care"

In verse 3, the line "You left me a present on my stairs / I guess that means that you really care" is a direct reference to the song "All the Small Things" by blink-182. A line in that song states "She left me roses by the stairs / Surprises let me know she cares".

The idea of "Picture Perfect" came from a joke made by Josh while talking to Kris and the band mates about the e-girl.
