The pink flamingo in the artwork is the actual present that was referenced in "Picture Perfect"
Originally, an acoustic version of "Picture Perfect" was planned to be the b-side to "Christmastime" instead of "So Far, So Good".
The title "A Present on Your Stairs" was a reference to both "Christmastime" (since the song is about Christmas) and "Picture Perfect (Acoustic)", directly quoting the line "You left me a present on my stairs / I guess that means that you really care." However, "Picture Perfect (Acoustic)" would later be released on the band's next EP, "Valentine's Day Bouquet".
