Players Code of Conduct

1. 1. I will remember that I am participating in the BPC League to enjoy pickleball with other adults in a fun, competitive, yet respectful manner, regardless of their age, race, gender or playing ability.

   2. I shall conduct myself in a manner congruent to the rules and By-Laws of the BPC League.

   3. I will exhibit  good sportsmanship, fairness and honesty during play and within the pickleball community.

   4. I shall strive at preserving the integrity of pickleball, one that incorporates the elements of fun, cooperation, courtesy and friendly competition.

   5. I will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any spectator, teammate, opponent, or captain and encourage others to not engage in unsportsmanlike behaviors.

   6. I will not engage in any behavior that would endanger the health, safety or wellbeing of others.

   7. I will play by the USA Pickleball rules, and modified BPC league rules, and resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.

   8. I shall respect lines of authority within the league, follow and support the league’s policies and rules, the league director, and BPC Board Members in their respective duties.  I will not cause any disruption or undermine their efforts in managing the league to the best of their abilities.

   9. I will not post disparaging comments about the league or its members on any social media.

   10. I will not use the leagues records or materials for personal gain.

   11. I understand that violating the BPC code of conduct could result in corrective action including suspension from BPC league play.
