DUPR Ratings

• For the Spring 2026 season, DUPR ratings will be “reset” weekly.  Ratings will be “reset” every Friday at noon.  This will be considered the players DUPR rating for the upcoming week (matches on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday), until ratings are “reset” again the following Friday.  Weekly DUPR ratings will not be published.  Captains are responsible for checking DUPR ratings and setting their lineups accordingly each week.

• BPC does not determine when the DUPR system ratings are updated.  Matches will typically be entered in the DUPR system within 24 hours of receipt of scoresheet, however DUPR rating changes take an undetermined amount of time.  Because "weekly" DUPR ratings are being used, a player could move up or down a level from week to week.

• Players must have an established DUPR rating to be entered on a lineup. Each captain shall review the lineup and player DUPR ratings, and discuss any concerns with the opposing team captain, PRIOR to the match beginning. 

• All players must have a DUPR rating established prior to being in a lineup for league play. A BPC league appointed representative, who is a Certified Pickleball Instructor and has capability to enter ratings in DUPR, may establish a player’s DUPR rating via observation of that players skill level during rec game play with others. DUPR ratings established from play in tournaments or ladder league play are also acceptable.  Captains should no longer establish player DUPR ratings on their own via rec game play.

•  VERY IMPORTANT – Players must join the Beaufort Pickleball Club in the DUPR app.  This is in addition to registering for the league.  This facilitates data entry of match scores and identifying the correct players who participated.  Click the link below to join BPC in the DUPR app.
