Commissioned by Donna Holford-Lovell at NEoN Digital Arts and Dr Michael Pierre-Johnson at the Innovation School at the Glasgow School of Art to create a Manifesto for Digital Arts Work Placements to inform best practice across the digital arts creative and cultural sector, as part of NEoN's ReGrowing Digital Arts initiative
Taught myself to learn the Twine engine to create an interactive "playful Manifesto that could function as an adaptable knowledge repository that is publicly accessible and highly inclusive" as per the brief of the commission
Managed a research budget of £600 allocated by NEoN to cover production costs, dissemination costs, and research costs
Conducted qualitative research such as interviews and focus groups with employees and former employees of NEoN, as well as independent contractors, to inform data collection and the development of the Manifesto
Produced long, short, and plaintext versions of the Manifesto to maximise accessibility and approachability, tagging the PDFs to be usable by screenreaders
Presented the Manifesto at the ReGrowing Digital Arts showcase, funded by UKRI
A few months after completing the Manifesto, I was offered contractual employment with NEoN as their Accessibility Officer and to create their Accessibility Strategy
