If you have decided to forego the time saving method of BIM360 . We can share a link where files can be downloaded at risk of working on disconnected files no longer receiving updates. Please ask your BBA contact for a download link. Please be aware that we do not send design files (.dwg,.rvt) by email. All design files are shared via BIM 360.

We only share Revit files.

Today Revit is bundled with AutoCAD. If you have AutoCAD you have access to Revit as well.

Baker Barrios Architects’ Clients and General contractors,

We would like to thank you for your partnership on our current project together. Baker Barrios Architects, referred to as “BBA” herein, has policies that exist to protect Clients, General Contractors and BBA from liabilities. When honored, these policies aid in maintaining business relationships. BBA has a policy to not convert digital files from their original authoring application to a different file type(s) for distribution. For example; BBA will not convert Revit files to AutoCAD for distribution of any kind. Several complications may occur during the file conversion process from one file type to another. These errors in conversion are not always easy to see and are not realized until construction, costing time and money.

Baker Barrios is open to sharing certain files in their original authoring application format once a digital file indemnification form is reviewed and signed. BBA will only share files with the client or General Contractor directly. BBA will not share files directly with subcontractors. Via Autodesk BIM 360, BBA offers a cloud-based solution where project files and information may be reviewed. Upon request, BBA can provide access to the free viewer through this platform. BBA does not endorse converting PDFs to AutoCAD files using AutoCAD’s “PDF Import” tool(s) and use of this or similar options are to be explored at your own risk.

Once a digital file indemnification & digital file sharing agreement is signed & returned, you will be given access to the file that may be downloaded at risk from BIM 360.

• Any contractor requesting any Revit model agrees to host their Revit and other models in the Baker Barrios BIM 360 project (Project files/Partners/General Contractor) in addition to signing the digital file indemnification.

• Contractor must agree to provide access to all Naviswork, Glue/ Coordinate, or Field models.

• All Assemble projects must be shared with Baker Barrios. Every Assemble project must invite dbrokaw@bakerbarrios.com.
