• Is a "Shared Parameter"

• Copy the BBA Shared Parameters file from (see below) to BIM360

  • A:\Templates\BBASharedParameters.txt

• Associate File to Project

• It is important that the same exact parameter be pulled from the same shared parameter file so that the linked sheets will schedule properly.

• Index Disciplines must adhere to the above order relative to adjacent Index Disciplines.

• Is a "Shared Parameter"

• If a complete set of Construction Documents exceeds approximately 350 sheets it is to be split into Volumes.

• If Volume 1 or 2 exceeds 350 sheets, additional Volumes may be used with Architecture + Interior Design made to be Volume 2 and Fire Protection + Plumbing made to be Volume 3, and all others Volume 4

• Standard Volumes are split as indicated

• General

• Civil

• Landscape Architecture

• Structural

• Architecture

• Interior Design

Volume 2

• Fire Protection

• Plumbing

• Mechanical

• Electrical

• Food Service

• Others...

• Open the Revit file

• On the menu ribbon at the top of the screen select the "Manage Tab"

• Select the "Project Parameters" button

• Select "Add"

• Select the "Shared parameter" radio button

• Browse to My Computer\BIM 360 drive ( Autodesk Desktop Connector)\ Bakerbarrios\Project Name\Project Files\Technical Design\BBA_SharedParameters.txt

• Parameter group: (drop down) select "Index Sort Order"

• Select BBA_Index_Discipline > select "Ok"

• Categories section of dialog box check the box for "Sheets"

• Group parameter under: Identity data

• Ok

• Repeat for each of the three Index sort Order parameters

• Open each sheet's properties and assign the value required to the three parameters as seen above on this page.
