The wasteland’s changed, darlin’. New words, new sights, pages updated and stories stirred. Thought you knew it? Look again.
The Pack is a fractured would-be warband of would-be warlords, each one convinced that he alone embodies the final, unfiltered essence of what it means to be a “real man.” They dub themselves alpha males, sigma wolves, and primal kings as many had before the collapse, when they were anonymous voices on fringe forums, self-help grifters, or men’s rights influencers who raged at a world that demanded empathy and accountability.
The Pack has no real hierarchy like other factions because every member believes he should be the one to lead and so every campfire becomes a stage for chest-puffing monologues, every shared meal a chance to declare dominance. Disputes over leadership, territory, or even the right to speak next erupt constantly into bloody infighting. The only reason the faction still exists at all is due to the uncanny survival of one man: MacGuffin, who insists on being called The Apex.
Interestingly 'The Wolf Hammer' has yet to be used in battle. While most warriors claim that with the tool they would be "Too OP" however outside consensus suggests nobody is able to lift it.
The Pack draws its aesthetic and rituals from a haphazard collage of warrior cultures; Vikings, Spartans, Mongols, Samurai, even gladiators. But what they emulate is less history and more misremembered Hollywood myth. Despite this, The Pack is dangerous, in the same way a drunk man with a gun is dangerous. Their arrogance leaps the border into stupidity, though not the comical sort.
Some in the wasteland mock them, some fear them, and others simply stay out of their path. Because when a Pack warband marches, shouting slogans about “bringing back the old ways” while half of them bleed from self-inflicted training injuries, there's no telling whether you're witnessing a doomed crusade or the beginning of a new catastrophe. In a world ruled by chaos, The Pack doesn’t seek order they seek validation, even if they have to kill for it.
