The first campsite stop on Backroads Brent 3week September 2020 Okanogan/Shuswap adventure was Ellis provincial Park in Vernon BC. Albert, Brent's father, stopped in for a visit with his BMWer Z3. So cool! Brent said that driving the car made him feel like James Bond!
the coronavirus made me buy a new barbecue.
I was scheduled to be out on the road now, or very close to it. I figured I'd no longer needed my backyard furniture and barbecue. So I sold them. now that the virus has everything on lockdown I might be stuck at home a little longer, and with no barbecue. This video is the story of how I was forced into buying a new barbecue by that damn virus!

April 12th 2020 Backroads Brent took a trip to the back roads to discuss the current coronavirus situation. it has put a hold on the journey. Also some really interesting drives down the country road.

In March of 2020 the coronavirus has the world at a standstill. Therefore Backroads Brent's plan to depart on his cross country trip have been delayed until... who knows? Hopefully we can get control of the situation soon and return to normal life. Stay tuned for updates.

Since 1993 I have been dressing up in costumes and performing music and comedy entertainment. Now that I am very close to starting my new adventure, driving a van across Canada, I wonder if I should hang on to these costumes or retire them. A friend suggested I take pictures and videos to have a digital record of the various outfits. So I did just that! In this video some of my costume characters bid Bon Voyage to Backroads Brent. Now the costumes and characters will retire. The question I get asked the most, "Is Woofy retiring?" The answer is in this video, near the end!
