One Rock to the Other
On the left coast of Canada is a big rock called Vancouver Island. That is where I live. On the right side of Canada is a big rock called Newfoundland. That is where I'm headed! This song is about a cross-country van drive from coast to coast.

Rollin’ from one rock to the other
Headin’ back east to see my brother
His stepdaughter his son and his mother
And brand new baby makes another
West rock to the eastern boulder
Gotta get there before I get older
Even though it's so much colder
I’ll be for Christmas that's what I told her
Driving a van across the land
Seeing everything that I can
Meeting new folks making new fans
Cruisin’ the backroads to Newfy land
Leaving the west coast rain behind
Searching the country for sunshine
Say goodbye to the same old grind
Feeling so free I'm unconfined
Driving a van across the land
Seeing everything that I can
Meeting new folks making new fans
Cruisin’ the backroads to Newfy land
Rollin’ from one rock to the other
Hitting the road by early summer
Lots of new country to discover
Be back home by next September
