Introduction

The department of Mathematics promotes teaching and learning theoretical and computational Statistics. Apart from regular schedule of core and elective courses, some other academic events are occasionally arranged for the benefit of IISER community. The department of mathematics is hosting a 2-days workshop on Nonparametric Inference and Computing in R. The workshop is open for all students and faculty members. The BS-MS core course on Probability and Statistics would be the prerequisite.
