The purpose of this project was to present a redesign of an existing unfriendly design.
The Kroger website was selected due to the increase in demand for online grocery shopping during the Covid-19 pandemic. The original design was critiqued in terms of usability, with a requirement analysis performed to determine what tasks users had the biggest issues with.
A conceptual redesign was suggested with comparisons between the old and new interface designs, and a prototype was then created to evaluate the new design. The three issues that were chosen as the focus of the prototype were the confusing coupon system, the limited customization of shopping lists, and the lack of cart customization for each fulfillment option.
