This prototype was part of a group project for a human factors & ergonomics course. The prompt was to analyze, design & create a user interface for virtual online teaching & learning. The target audience was university students, with the main issue being the underwhelming communication features within online video conferencing learning currently being used.
"CampusConnect" was then created as a new and improved platform to connect the whole university community.
This prototype was based on brainstorming and benchmarking other systems such as Zoom and Skype business.
The design was based on principles and heuristics learned throughout the semester, using usability testing to improve different aspects of the prototype.
