Nature has been a source of inspiration for both scientists and artists over the years. Moreover, friend and mentor, Nature has fascinated us every time science and art have progressed. This is why we chose the theme of the first meeting in Bucharest

NATURE AT THE CONFLUENCE BETWEEN ART AND SCIENCE

Working in teams on various topics related to art and science, participating pupils see how peoples' cultures have some common forms of artistic expression, different, but the language of science is universal. The themes were:

1. Mathematical modeling of nature: From disorder to order

2. Living world, source of inspiration for scientists and artists

3. The universe, a challenge for the human mind

4. Man vs nature

5. Art in promoting science.

There were organized learning activities supported by school teachers or specialists were invited, attended by all guests or groups of students and teachers. In order to create the cohesion of the working groups in the teams formed from the first day, the students invited have learned Romanian folk dances in ice-breaking activities.

In the following days, school teachers held open classes with student groups. We invited scientists, architects, plastic artists, art historians, museographers who made presentations or work-shops in our school, museums or workshops dedicated to some activities.

After the students collected the information, they made a project during the week in each of the 8 mixed groups, a project that

supported him on Friday in the competition in our project. The jury made up of our invited teachers nominated the awards.
