Romania, 20-26 November 2016
The presence of travel alerts on possible trips to Istanbul and even the banning of mobility with students in Turkey in some countries (following frequent terrorist attacks) led to the replacement of this meeting with two other mobilities organized by Romania and Spain.
In general, art and science are mutually conditioned: art would not be possible without the existence of sciences that quantitatively and qualitatively quantify the final product born of imagination. On the other hand, the artist is a kind of transformer of the laws of nature in material, tangible objects, according to his own "filters”.
The theme was chosen in view of common activities and the fact that architecture is one of the fields in which science, art and technology work together to create and build the environment and thus can be a good illustration of the project theme
The theme of the reunion was developed in the chapters:
1. "La Belle Époque" in the Bucharest architecture
2. Romanian Spirituality and Sacred Architecture
3. Invitation to the royal court. Palaces, castles, fortresses
4. Leap to the 21st century
In order to achieve the proposed objectives, support programs were presented for presentation of the theme, an artistic program emphasizing the chosen theme, icebreaking activities were carried out for better activity of the project groups, visits were made to the Museum of the Bank National Palace of Parliament, and some of the architectural objectives of the meeting were also visited. Students have collaborated in mixed teams to get their own themes and to work together.
At the end, the conclusions were drawn on the implementation of the project up to that point and the coordinates of the project finalization were drawn.
