Billy, at 1.5 years old, is a bundle of energy and friendliness. She is from Married scholar hostel but now a days prefers to stay in front Dhansiri girls hostel. While she prefers the company of humans over other dogs, she exudes joy and positivity in every interaction. Recently, Billy encountered an unfortunate accident in the Dhansiri - MSH road resulting in a severe limb fracture, requiring an implant for recovery. Billy underwent a rigorous 8 month treatment regimen. Despite her limping gait post-surgery, she maintains her cheerful demeanor. Billy's easy-going nature extends to her eating habits, as she happily devours whatever food is offered to her without fuss. Her resilience and affectionate spirit make her a beloved companion to all who know her. 

This is Fluffy, a resident of Subansiri girls hostel. At just 4 months old, he was tragically hit by a car right in front of the hostel. His injury was serious enough to require an implant in his leg, and he underwent a rigorous five-month treatment regimen. Today, Fluffy has fully recovered and is thriving at 2 and a half years old. His resilience and the care he received have ensured that he can enjoy a healthy and active life within the hostel, bringing joy to all who know him. 

Fluffy has a big appetite and loves to eat almost everything pedigree being his favourite.

This is Pluto, another beloved resident of Subansiri girls hostel. Originally born at Dhansiri girls hostel, Pluto faced a similar unfortunate incident at just 4 months old when he was hit by a speeding bike. Like Fluffy, he underwent surgery and received an implant in his leg, enduring a lengthy period of treatment. Despite his challenging start, Pluto has emerged as the alpha dog of the Subansiri pack, commanding respect from his fellow residents. Today Pluto is around 7 years old. However, the accident left a lasting psychological mark on him; he still harbors a fear of speeding bikes and instinctively chases after them. He finds solace in caring for Fluffy, showing a nurturing side that contrasts with his fearless demeanor. Pluto's favorite meal, boiled dal, rice, and boiled eggs, reflects his simple tastes and hearty appetite, adding to his endearing personality in the hostel community. Pluto loves to play fetch with pebbles and broken branches and sticks.

Early in 2024, Handsome's life took a tragic turn when he became the victim of a hit-and-run accident one fateful night, left abandoned to fend for himself. Fortunately, vigilant security guards found him and rushed him to the hospital for urgent treatment. The extent of his injuries was severe, with dislocated hind legs and profound emotional trauma. Upon returning to campus, he was placed in isolation to aid his recovery, but he managed to escape and was eventually discovered hiding in a dry ditch. Realizing the need for intensive care, Handsome was transferred to an in-patient treatment facility where a dedicated team of doctors provided constant monitoring and support. Despite their best efforts, Handsome contracted babesiosis during his stay, causing him to endure significant weight loss and a drastic change in demeanor, turning him into a mere shadow of his former lively self. After enduring a relapse of babesiosis, Handsome finally began to regain his health through months of diligent care and nurturing. Now, he is slowly but surely reclaiming his zest for life, eager to make up for lost playtime with his loyal companions.
