Titu's story is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming. He is a 5 month old indie pup. Despite the challenges he has faced at such a young age, his resilience and progress are truly inspiring. It's wonderful to hear that he has shown improvement with the treatment and care he received. His playful and perceptive nature, coupled with his intelligence and adaptability, are all testaments to his strong spirit. His long floppy ears adds to his cuteness and loving nature. He is very intelligent and adaptive.
Titu was left by someone on campus along with his mother and siblings. He unfortunately met with an accident. His T5 vertebra rolled over T4 leaving his spine compressed that resulted in paralysis of his lower body portion. When we found him he was unable to move and in a lot of pain. We took him to Khanapara vet hospital where the doctors told that there is very less chances of recovery. He was given infrared treatment and he is currently on medication and physiotherapy. He has shown a lot of improvement with time and has developed sensation in his lower body and limbs. Now he can move his limbs. Although he cannot stand up but can move by dragging himself. He faced a lot of challenges in such a young age but he is very playful and perceptive.
Providing him with ongoing support, including medication, physiotherapy, and possibly using a wheelchair or other supportive equipment, shows a deep commitment to his well-being. With your care and dedication, Titu has a chance at continuing to improve and lead a fulfilling life despite his initial setbacks.
Thank you for giving Titu the love and care he deserves and for sharing his story. It's stories like his that remind us of the resilience of animals and the difference compassion can make in their lives.
