Salt Graduate Certificate in Documentary Studies (has a tuition fee)
CUNY journalism school - relatively affordable J school with a strong reputation. in NYC. (cheaper if you have NY State or NYC residency status)
AIR media - not free, but they offer a generous student discount. membership gives you free access to freelancer resources, networking opportunities, job board, mentorship, and a calendar of skill-building events and webinars
WCBN - become a volunteer DJ at UM's college radio station! (ask Lis about this) - free but unpaid. great way to get training and experience in live broadcasting.
