In Audacity, saving is a two-step process:
Save the project
Export the final audio
Tips: Exporting an MP3 file
When trying to export an mp3 file in Audacity, the user must load the LAME mp3 encoder.
1. Click the “Browse” tab.
2. Select “All Files”.
3. Go to MacOSX Drive > Library > Audio > Audacity & select libmp3lame.dylib
4. Click “OK”.
You can now export mp3 files.
