Rode NT1

The Rode NT1 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone. It can be used with our USB audio interface or USB mixer.

Use the Rode NT1 For:

• recording sung vocals
• recording acoustic instruments (guitar, flute, etc.)

Tips for Using the Rode NT1

• Make sure the phantom power on the interface is turned on (+48v).
• Ensure you are getting good levels in your recording software (averaging between -6 and -3 dB)
• Speak in a loud, clear voice
• Speak approximately 3-4 inches away from the end of the microphone.
• Use the pop screen to help avoid excessive breath noises and loud “p” and “b” sounds (also known as plosives.)
