Tips for Using the Rode Podcaster

• Ensure you are getting good levels in your recording software (averaging between -6 and -3 dB)
• Speak in a loud, clear voice
• Speak approximately 3-4 inches away from the end of the microphone.
• Use the foam windshield to help avoid excessive breath noises and loud “p” and “b” sounds (also known as plosives.)
