In its 12th year, the ESB MACC's annual La Mujer festival was originally inspired by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, who is considered the first feminist of the Americas.
La Mujer as a signature MACC event has historically been a multidisciplinary festival that includes hands-on art making activities, women storytelling workshops, live performances and family-friendly cultural arts activities. Caminos has always either worked the event or, in the case of the "La Mujer" Mural, been inspired by it!
