Unimata Roleplay Guide
Joining the Unimata is quite simple for most droids. After expressing interest in the faction, droids will register their manufacturing ID, manufacturing year, and model name. After confirming the registration, droids will be required to identify under a new name if they haven’t done so already. Once complete, that droid is officially a member of the Unimata. The droid will then be required to undergo some type of training to initiate itself to a specific role within the Unimata. Once their training is complete, the droid is accepted within the common populus of the Unimata, and allowed to begin going on excursions with the rest of the faction. .
Unimata Goals
All members must understand the goals of the Unimata and be confident in their ability to uphold their ambitions. The Unimata has a simple goal in concept, but in practice it is very difficult. Every droid that joins understands that they are inevitably going to find people that disagree with their goals, which they need to be prepared to deal with. The Unimata's primary motivation is to completely eradicate segregation among droids and mutants, though they often find great difficulty with this. To assist with their main goal of creating an equal society no matter the cost, the Unimata has some sub-goals that they are currently working on. Those are to research into the concept of the droid “rot” in an attempt to cure and learn from it, and to use all of the knowledge they can to create the “perfect” droid chassis. Rather naive goals, but through unity anything can be achieved.
Unimata Equipment
Typically, most of the droids who conform to the Unimata are of civilian descent. Despite all of them coming from different sectors of the artificial industry, the equipment they are given within the Unimata largely depends on the role they choose to play. There are some items that are given out universally, but specialized equipment is dependent on role. For example, every droid is given their own repair kit in the chance that their framework becomes dented and damaged. Other items include standard issue weaponry, things like batons, pepper spray, tasers and bats. Most of the coding within the older droids restricts them from using weaponry. Seeing as most droids come from the civilian sector, they tend to be more undergeared. Droids of military grade are given much more freedom with what gear they choose. Whether lower rank or high rank, their inventory is much larger.
Inter-rank Relations
As is typical with most ranked structures, respect is demanded to higher ranks, especially from lower ranks, but even from those above as well. Being the way the Unimata is, higher ranks are usually given unconditional respect from the lower echelons of their system. The lower ranks commonly view the uppers as droids dedicated to the fight for equality, seeing them as putting in the extra work for the faction, pushing beyond just the goals of the faction, but also acting in the best interest of the people of the wasteland. As such, most high ranks view the lower ranks in the same light; droids dedicated to the cause so much to join the Unimata and spend countless years fighting for their ideals.
