REPUTATION OVERVIEW
There are various ways that individuals can earn either a positive or negative reputation with Unimata. In order to earn a positive reputation, individuals must show belief in their cause. They must aid the Unimata in liberating settlements. They also have to show a helping hand around Dove's Oasis. This assistance can be provided in a variety of ways. For example, carrying heavy equipment, upkeeping the camp by keeping it clean, or alerting the Unimata of hostile individuals who have snuck into the camp. Generally, these individuals sympathize with the Unimata and want to see them succeed. People with a positive reputation will be greatly rewarded for their efforts. This can manifest as discounts at markets and permanent residence in their camp, even up to getting modifications of their own from the workshop.
On the other hand, certain individuals may want to battle against the Unimata. Their beliefs do not line up and thus want to see the faction move out of the region. For someone to gain a negative reputation, they must show hostilities to the point where they become a thorn in their side. This can be brought about in various ways, some notable ones being the assisting in the defense of work camps, controlling people to work for them, and assisting with the escape of wanted people. They might also be a menace within the camp itself. This may be through setting up anti-Unimata propaganda, scamming members, or general hostilities towards people. Those who stray on the path of negative reputation find themselves in a world of trouble. Many don’t see their reputation through…
You can find your reputation here. Don't metagame it.
REQUESTING SUPPORT
Every so often a Unimata reputable may find themselves engaged in a situation where they are fighting an enemy of the Unimata without the support of the faction. In order to compensate these brave warriors, the Unimata allows for mercenaries to take items from the faction's inventory in order to aid them in their battles. This way the Unimata is not directly involved in the fighting and those who fight for them are shown that the Unimata cares. The amount of support a mercenary can request from the Unimata is dependent on the location of the battle. Due to the faction's situation in the mudlands, Luminaries and above are able to receive aid for conflicts happening on North Island while only Ambassadors are able to be supported on South Island. To determine the amount of support you can request, see the 'support' sub-heading under each positive reputation. These items are a one-time use for the skirmish meaning they cannot be taken and used outside in unaffilited roleplay.
Requesting for support cannot be done straight through IC means. If you are requesting aid for your character, make sure to send a message to any HR/CR. Detail what the support is needed for and why your character needs it. The things listed under support are just general guidelines of what can be given, if there is something you want to ask for that isn't expressly stated you can still ask! Do note that if not deemed sufficient enough your request for support can be denied.
