Bradberton is an agricultural settlement that supplies itself, Black Mountain, and surrounding towns. It has been the target of many attacks, prompting an increasingly growing defense budget including border walls, cannons, watchtowers, but only field local townspeople as their main source of manpower.

As its name suggests, Gateway is located at the north end of the Sunrise Bridge. It is believed to be intended as a buffer outpost to be used to slow down invaders attacking from the South Island and a monitoring station for maritime traffic along the islands' strait.
