Join us at the forefront of innovation as the Autonomous Systems and Emerging Technologies Symposium (ASSETS 2025) brings together leading minds from academia, R&D organisations, and industry across India and around the globe to explore the future of autonomous and intelligent systems. This dynamic forum will spotlight cutting-edge advances in unmanned systems, multi-vehicle coordination, and next-generation autonomy, with core themes spanning motion planning and control strategies, multi-agent cooperation and navigation, advances in UAV guidance and control, and autonomy through learning and adaptation. The symposium will feature a rich and engaging program, including technical sessions, panel discussions, and lightning talks, offering diverse opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and visionary dialogue.Â
The symposium holds special significance as it commemorates the outstanding contributions and enduring impact of Prof. Debasish Ghose, a pioneering figure in the field of autonomous systems. A distinguished faculty member at the Indian Institute of Science, Prof. Ghose founded the Guidance, Control and Decision Systems Laboratory (GCDSL) and the Mobile Robotics Laboratory (MRL), leading groundbreaking research in distributed systems, guidance theory, cooperative control, swarm robotics, intelligent systems, and many other areas. Prof. Ghose has been a deeply respected mentor, collaborator, and thought leader of rare distinction, inspiring generations of students and researchers with his wisdom, integrity, and profound enthusiasm for unraveling new knowledge. ASSETS 2025 is organised in his honour, as a tribute to his remarkable legacy and continued influence on the scientific community.
