Satadal Ghosh received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2006, and the M.Tech. degree in statistical quality control and operations research from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2014. He was a recipient of the U.S. National Research Council Research Associateship Award during 2015 to 2017 for his post-doctoral research at Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey CA. Subsequently, after a short academic visit at National University of Singapore, he joined Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. He is currently an Associate Professor of Guidance, Navigation, and Control with the Aerospace Engineering Department at IIT Madras. His research interests include motion planning and guidance for single and multiagent systems.Â
