Arpita Sinha is a faculty member at Center for Systems and Control, IIT Bombay. She earned her PhD in Aerospace Engineering from IISc, Bangalore in 2007, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Cranfield University, UK for a year before joining IIT Bombay. Her research focus lies at the intersection of robotics and control systems. She is particularly interested in autonomous vehicle guidance, multi-vehicle coordination, and distributed decision-making. Currently, she is working on projects related to autonomous on-road driving, UAV-UGV coordination, and multiple mobile manipulators control with human-in-the-loop.
