Theory Application

With this assignment our class was supposed to go see a movie at the movie theater and then have a discussion on it, but because of the coronavirus our field trip was canceled. Instead we were assigned to watch a movie or show of our preference to apply course concepts to it that we had learned over the semester. I chose the movie Outbreak since it was related to our current situation. I then applied a rhetorical criticism framework to this movie to better understand its creative way of conveying meaning. This assignment helped me to better understand the course concepts by putting them into practice. Below is my Theory Application paper that discusses the movie Outbreak through a feminist criticism perspective.
