Media Commentary

With this project, we were to select a form of media that we felt was not represented accurately and to then provide honest commentary on it. The commentary was supposed to analyze the media's purpose, role in society, and impact on the viewers. With this we were also encouraged to incorporate satire and sarcasm into the work to provide entertainment while also informing the audience of our analysis. This assignment was open for creativity because you could create a YouTube video, memes, or a podcast like I did. This assignment helped me to be more critical about the media I consume and to also reevaluate how it has shaped my life and others. Below is the podcast I created along with its transcript that analyzes The Vampire Diaries.
