Welcome to our launching pad

This website is an evolving platform of stimulus materials and responses. Please revisit over the next fourteen months or so, to see the frequent updates.

Why Worry About the SDGs?

What Are Global Sustainable Development Goals?

The Global Sustainable Development Goals will be one focus for the project. Teachers are encouraged to engage their students with the goals who will be able to explore them in both a curriculum format or extra curricular project.

Participants under their teacher's guidance, will be able to contribute to an evolving reading list that can then feed the project. Access to the Google Sheet like the one below will be shared after schools nominate.

We will also access the SDG Book Club resources. You can learn more by viewing the videos created by the United Nations by clicking the links below.

You might like to sign your schools up to participate in the SDG Book Club which suggests books for students 6 to 12. You will find the link here. These books have been specifically chosen for their content and could prove a fabulous stimulus for student exploration, writing and reflection. If you are familiar with the texts, you might like to suggest your favourite to include in the submission's form below. While the books are aimed at primary students, they will still act as a great discussion starter and focus for writing, if you choose to use them.
