Hello, I'm Amaia. I have a background in Translation and Interpreting, with a focus on localization and website translation. However, before choosing my bachelor, I was also considering a degree in Digital Design and Creative Technologies in Valencia. Thanks to my studies, I became increasingly interested in how technology shapes communication. I hope to combine my translation background with artificial intelligence in new and creative ways, exploring how language and technology can be related. My interest in interpreting and translation ethics also extends to the ethics of AI, especially the responsibility we have when mediating understanding, whether between people or between humans and machines.
