"In response to the absurdity of the present, Big DaDa examines the role of art in a world driven by data and algorithms and explores how makers respond to the digital reality of social media, bots and undermining information networks built on assumptions."
Generative AI and Embodied Cognition, November 25, workshop at V2 Rotterdam, by Rob Saunders and Ksenia Fedorova. "While applications of generative AI quickly spread across increasingly more aspects of human life it is important to go back to the foundational questions of how to define intelligence and of the role of embodied and situated conditions of its operation. How does the ‘body’ of an AI agent can make a difference in its ability to learn from its surroundings and behave accordingly?". Including a talk by Louis-Philippe Demers (the artist behind the Blind Robot discussed in class).

Microdosing AI, open call V2 & Marginal. "No big tech. No data centers. No power sockets. Microdosing A.I. is a production opportunity for artists and designers facilitated by V2_ Lab (NL) and Marginal (RO). We’re looking for 10 inspiring projects engaging with low-tech AI: systems that think, sense, or act without power sockets, big tech, or data centers.
