The Year 12 course examines the strategic role of each of the four key business functions present in every business, and the decisions taken by the managers of each of those four key business functions to respond to influences which require the manager to make changes to the actual processes which occur within their business function.

The HSC Business Studies exam is a three hour paper with the following components
20 multiple choice questions (20 marks)
4 short answer questions with multiple components (40 marks)
1 Business Report (20 marks)
1 Case Study Essay ( 20 marks)

Within the syllabus, the content to be learned sits beneath headings called "students Learn About". This is the content that is typically assessed in MC, SA and ER questions. In additions to this there is a "Learn to" section. These are the skills which you will need to be able to demonstrate and are often the source of high value short answer and essay questions.
You should be CONFIDENT that you understand the learn about's (with the exact words) and then cross check to ensure you can answer the learn to's using that knowledge
