Sea ice concentration

Below are animations of the sea ice concentration maps from Bremen University.  The first animation shows the unprocessed daily images.  In the other two animations, the data are smoothed by using a running 5-day or 3-day (pixel-wise) median to remove some daily fluctuations and artifacts in those images.
