CryoSat-SMOS regional sea ice volume graphs
All images and data below are calculated from the CryoSat-SMOS merged sea ice thickness gridded data provided by the Alfred Wegener Institute. These data are only available during the freezing season from mid-October to mid-April. The data for Autumn 2023 are preliminary and may be revised later.
Each daily image actually covers a 7-day period, which is labeled with the midpoint of the interval. E.g. the 4 Nov 2023 image corresponds to the 7-day period from 1 to 7 November.
