PIOMAS sea ice volume

All images and data below are calculated from the PIOMAS gridded sea ice thickness data provided by the Polar Science Center (Zhang et al.) .

This page is updated twice per month, when PIOMAS updates their data files, usually around the 4th and 18th day of the month, although sometimes their updates are  delayed. (Since December 2024, they've been updating only once per month and skipping the mid-month updates.)
