Hi, my name is Archie Shipley. I am a graduate of Kingscliff High School, where I was involved in the Big Picture design for learning. I give my all in every task, I am a highly motivated and hard working person who endeavors to strive for excellence.
My passion lies in motorsports, particularly motorsport engineering. I love to experiment to find how to maximise the performance of every car and driver I work with, and I am always looking for the next competitive advantage.
This is my Senior Portfolio Website, where I have showcased the best work that I have done across my time in Big Picture.

An overview of who I am and what I'm about:
Through Big Picture, I have worked alongside a number of industry professionals, and had the privilege of engaging in internships with multiple motorsport teams, including:
MARC Cars Australia
Triple Eight Race Engineering
UNSW Sunswift Racing Team
Trakwell Racing
My experiences with these teams has included over 35 race events/test days, totaling well over 100 days at the racetrack.
For my Senior Thesis Project I have been working closely with MARC Cars Australia to study the aerodynamic properties of the two different types of rear wing used on the IRC GTSS.
This has involved working creating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models of the wings, and conducting a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis on these models.
Through my time in Big Picture I have undertaken many leadership roles, such as being School Captain for 2025.
I completed the UniStart for Schools course run by Southern Cross University, with a Distinction overall grade.
Throughout my time in Big Picture, I have always been interested in motorsport, but my specific interest inside that topic has varied significantly.
