    Generally no because there are better options at Level 80 that cost less or nothing at all. However, it's a good choice if you don't want to farm much as it only costs 1k ACs.

Quest

LightMage

  1. Purchase the Evolved LightCaster armour from Aranx at /celestialrealm for 1000 ACs. It cannot be sold.

  2. Open the LightMage Class Token A Shop and purchase Token A.

  3. Merge LightMage using Token A.


LightCaster

  1. Once you've got LightMage, you can start the "LightCaster Class" quest from Aranx. To start the quest, it requires:

  • Burning Blade
    Defeat the Diabolical Warlord at /lostruinswar (1% droprate).

  • Burning Blade of Azebeth
    Defeat Aranx at /celestialarena (5% droprate).

  • Guardian of Spirits' Blade
    Complete Aranx's quest "Guardian of Spirits' Blade" by defeating 500 Fallen Knights.

  • Avatar of Death's Scythe
    Complete Aranx's quest "Avatar of Death's Scythe" by defeating 500 Underworld Hounds.

  • Spear of Time
    Complete Aranx's quest "Spear of Time" by defeating 500 Infernal Imps.

  1. Accept the "LightCaster Class" quest from Aranx at /celestialrealm and obtain Aranx's Pure Light from Aranx at /celestialarena (10% droprate).
