Kids' Game Day
We occasionally run a kids' games day
The kid has outgrown this particular event, but handy to keep around!
We are happy to teach games and handle questions about the rules. Caveat: we can handle the rules disputes. Discipline should come from the parents.
Please play by the rules. Players can agree on different rules, but only before the game starts, and if everyone playing agrees.
Please play to the best of your ability. You can agree to spot a rook, play to 12 points instead of 10, and the like, but please don't play to let someone win.
Parents can play their own games or play with the kids, but we highly suggest interruptible games for adults, as kids may need immediate attention. Parent-kid teams are also welcome.
Feel free to bring your own games, as long as the themes are kid-appropriate. Yes, kids can easily learn Cards Against Humanity, but we really don't want to see the results.
Please take good care of the games and your surroundings.
If you know someone that would like to join, send us their contact information and we can add them to the next game day.
