Reflection:
In this video I am teaching static and dynamic balancing to Jeremiah, the student I was assigned in 356. I go over different balancing techniques as well as some adaptations and modifications he could incorporate if he needs. This was an interesting way of teaching and will be a reminder of how teaching COVID was different.
This teaching video relates to Component 4.b because it shows me demonstrating the balances with different explanations and possible modifications and adjustments in order to help Jeremiah better his balance. I use different cues and I do the lesson with the intent of Jeremiah practing this to get better balance over time. This video is important to my development as a physical educator because it shows how I can use my environment to help aid with lessons as well as be a baseline for a similar lesson in the future.
