Our Exhibition Group
Our group picked music as our strategy because we usually listen to music most times while in a difficult situation, or emotional, and we use music to cope with our stress and when we don't feel great.
Our group also has noticed that music has had a huge impact on us and a lot of our group members also play instruments to cope and to relieve stress.
Presentation
Action
For our action, our group decided to use the melody of the song ‘Count On Me’ by Bruno Mars, and remake the lyrics to our own, and all the lyrics are dedicated to ways of coping, mental health, and how we have each other's back.
We chose to make a song because music helps us to cope with our stress and relax and we wanted to share that with others.
Reflection
Estella's reflection: The learner profile attribute that I feel that I have grown in is being more of a communicator. When we were starting we weren't communicating as much as now. I feel like because of the exhibition I am more collaborative and I discuss with my group more. I also grew more as a reflector because when I am researching I have to be very reflective and conscious about my spelling and grammar.
Sabian's reflection: Something I felt during my exhibition journey was improving my communication skills because usually I always have a hard time communicating with groups that I am together with. I also improved on thinking on how music can help affect our mental health and impact our actions and decisions. I have also researching skills and actually learning in whatever I research.
Yuan's reflection: Something I have improved is my communication skills because before I used to fool around not doing any task and not asking my group members for any help with anything because I just always wanted to do my own thing. The thing is whenever my group members ask me to at least do something in exhibition research or the presentation I tend to only do a few sentences so whenever I come back to school and we do exhibition they have to check my work to make sure if I did anything at all.
Shayla's reflection: I have improved in my communication skills because at first my communication with my group was not that strong and I was kind of shy with sharing my ideas. I have also grown out of not talking and started sharing all of my ideas with my group. Now my communication skills with my group are strong and I am able to share and communicate with them properly.
