Our Exhibition Group
We decided to choose gaming as our coping strategy because we play video games to escape reality, to see new things and to get away from the world. Gaming was a way for us to express our feelings; for example, building or talking to others to communicate. We chose gaming as our coping strategy because covid has shut down things that we used to love and gaming is way way we can do it in our own homes instead of going out.
Presentation
Action
For our action, we chose to hang up posters around the school. On our posters we wrote the positive and negative effects of gaming. We chose to create and hang up posters to show that gaming can provide good benefits like an escape from reality but also show that it’s important to have balance.
Reflection
Perseus’s Reflection-
During the Exhibition I felt that I was mostly successful in the presentation because I added some information from my research. In the Exhibition, my progress was getting better since I was communicating with my group. During the Exhibition journey, I was good in the planning phase because I got to make a central idea with my group and develop questions for the research phase.
Darell's reflection
During the exhibition, I was successful in helping my team by giving them a head-start in our presentation phase because my team didn’t really get the time to work on our presentation so I decided to be the leader and help out my team to be successful for our exhibition journey. I communicated best with my group members and we made major breakthroughs throughout our exhibition journey.
Billy's reflection
During the exhibition, I felt that I was successful at making sure that all the slides had different pictures and in creating the theme of everything. I also helped in the journey by researching and communicating with my group to get more done, efficiently, so we all finished. I have developed social skills, research skills and communication skills. I have never been much of a social person but the exhibition process has helped me communicate with my group mates and helped me finish quicker.
