Our Exhibition Group
Our group chose art as a coping strategy for stress because when we doodle or draw it makes us feel calm. When we express ourselves by painting it is satisfying and relaxing because you can see the colors and the pictures end up telling a story of how you’re feeling. Creating art allows us to communicate what is going on in our bodies.

Action
For our action we created a doodle book. In this doodle book you can do any kind of art such as sketching, painting, scribble, doodle, etc. We created a doodle book, so whenever you’re stressed, nervous or depressed you can doodle anytime and anywhere you want to bring it. There are so many things you can draw in a doodle book, just by practice and your own imagination.
Reflection
Ezra’s Reflection :
Exhibition kind of helped me to be a good communicator with my group members. During Exhibition, we used ‘Research Skills’ when we’re researching the questions we have about mental health for our lines of inquiry. I also developed skills such as being principled, I developed this skill by sharing my ideas with others, listening to teachers and by playing fair with others.
Sohan’s Reflection :
Throughout Exhibition, I’ve improved on my research skills. I have been researching in different ways which has helped me in my reflections with my group members. I have also improved my communication skills. I now give my friends advice, and take advice and just roll with it which significantly improves my communication skills. The last thing I have seen myself improve on is social skills. Instead of saying very minimal words like “yeah” or “sure” I talk to my friends about how we can improve on this and be way kinder overall.
Preston's Reflection:
I have improved my thinking skills through Exhibition which helped my group members. I’ve communicated my thoughts on what I felt my group and I could improve on. I’ve been principled by helping my group members find pictures and make pictures.
Charles’s Reflection:
Exhibition for me has been all about passion and caring because it shows me how to focus on cultural perspectives and art. I admit, Exhibition has actually been so fun and amusing, I'll miss the memory of Exhibition.
