Our Exhibition Group
We all chose literacy as our coping strategy because with literacy we are able to get our minds off of things that may be bothering us when we’re either reading or writing and because of that we can feel much calmer.
Presentation
Action
The action that we have decided to do is a book drive. We will be donating the books we collected during the book drive and then we’ll send them to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic elementary school.
Why? Well that’s because we wanted to show the importance of literacy to kids and how it can be used as a coping mechanism and because some schools can't afford to get books so we wanted to show our gratitude and give them some.
Reflection
Mika’s Reflection: This exhibition journey was very helpful with helping me grow more as a communicator.
Ever since we started exhibition I tried to push myself to talk more and to share my ideas, because of that I was slowly starting to get better at communicating with my group mates. I felt very proud of myself because of that and it was good to know that I was able to help my group mates even if it wasn’t much.
Talitha’s Reflection: This year I have been getting better at communicating . One way I got better at communicating with people is by spending time with people I don’t know. Also by asking for help when I need it from my group members.
