Background Information:
This photo was taken when I was very young with my grandpa who passed away 14 years ago. It has always been too dark, and it got damaged with ink splotches. Because of these problems, I always thought this photo was ruined.
Design:
First, I adjusted the colors of the photo to help lighten the photo
I used the spot healing brush to get a lot the ink splotches out
Areas like the ear and the lace, I used the clone stamp tool to get rid of the ink splotches
Skills Used:
Photo Adjustments in Adobe Camera Raw and in Adobe Photoshop to lighten the picture
Spot healing brush tool to remove most of the ink splotches
Clone Stamp Tool for small areas where the spot healing brush was too detailed and couldn’t fix the spots

Revisions:
I added a left arm that was missing because the original photo was old and overexposed
I cut the background out using a mask
I added a background
Then I burned the edges to make a vignette so you can focus on the baby (me) better
