PRIVATE - BUILDING SEARCH & ROOM CLEARING TACTICS
Course Details:
This course was originally developed for Law Enforcement as well as the “Loss Prevention” Industry for officers who, in the course and scope of their employment, need to be properly trained in the use of building search and room clearing tactics.
This course will cover the essential information, tactics, and practical application exercises to enable the student to effectively search a building and clear a room.
This course will cover the following:
Understanding of the law and what constitutes the reasonable use of force as it pertains to encountering an unknown subject.
General terminology and nomenclature related to Building Search Tactics.
Safe weapon handling as it pertains to building search tactics.
Understanding of threat discrimination procedures.
Low light tactics as they pertain to searching a building.
One man and two man building search tactics.
One-man room clearing tactics for both corner fed and center fed rooms.
Two-man room clearing tactics for both corner fed and center fed rooms.

This course has evolved out of courses originally developed by Steve Tarani for Law Enforcement and Military personnel. This course has been modified to meet the needs of either the LE/Mil/Security Professional or the Private Citizen who to learn techniques to defend their pistol.

This course was developed for Military, Law Enforcement, Private Security or the American Citizen looking to enhance their shooting ability.

Course Details:
This course was developed for the new shooter or any shooter who has never received formal instruction on how to draw from a holster. This class focuses on developing an effective draw from either an open or concealed carry OWB or IWB holster.
The class will also address the following:
Safety
A step by step draw sequence to build an efficient presentation from holster to target index.
Drawing from an open holster
Drawing from a concealed holster both "over" and "open" garments.
Drawing to "retention position" for close quarter defensive engagements.
We will then use several foundational shooting exercises to allow the students the maximum amount of draws during the duration of the class while building several foundational skills.

PRIVATE - ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY CLASS
Course Details:
This course was developed for Illinois residents and eligible non-residents looking to obtain an Illinois Concealed Carry License. The state of Illinois requires a 16 hours of training.
This class will meet all the requirements set forth by the Illinois State Police. The class will address the following:
Firearms Safety
All applicable State and Federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of a firearm
Emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/10(h) which includes instruction on the appropriate and lawful interaction with law enforcement while transporting or carrying a concealed firearm
Emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/65 which includes instruction on prohibited areas and the parking lot exception
