This course is designed to enhance the student’s understanding and ability in the techniques and tactics related to the use of Pepper Spray as a defensive tool. This course also has been used extensively by Law Enforcement as well as the “Loss Prevention” Industry by officers who, in the course and scope of their employment, are confronted by the need to be properly trained in the use of Pepper (OC) Spray.

A1TG Improvised Weapons Defense (No Live Fire)
“You may not carry a weapon, but what if you needed one to protect against a life-threatening physical attack?” This is the question asked by Steve Tarani the founder of this system. Steve is a real world Protection Specialist and subject matter expert from the US Defense Intelligence community. This system was designed for government personnel who could not bring weapons to their area of operation due to the nature if their mission or the restrictive environment of the operation. As an American citizen, even if you have a Concealed Carry Permit, there are numerous “NO GUN ZONES” where you cannot bring your concealed firearm.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this program of instruction you will be provided with training to develop the essential skills necessary for immediate selection, rapid deployment and usage of improvised weapons against an actual threat. Employing “weapons of opportunity” from four categories of improvised weapons including edged, impact, flexible and personal – this course enables students to identify and utilize common items in their everyday environment as an improvised weapon.
COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:
How to rapidly identify and deploy a weapon of opportunity (edged, impact, flex, etc.,)
How to break from an attack and gain advantageous position using improvised weapons.
How to re-actively respond to any low-line or high-line attack from an assailant in confined areas of operation.
How to control an assailant/adversary using improvised weapons.
How to disarm an assailant/adversary wielding a firearm, edged, impact and/ or other conventional weapons using improvised weapons.
